About the Department
Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.
Key Responsibilities
- The candidate should be expert in International Taxation Area, DTAA, Tax incentive and expert in direct tax matters.
- Should have experience of working in Advisory role with Big 4, as he/she will play a advisory role for client.
- Shall be responsible to advise and support sector country and state team on Direct Tax related matter as per the need.
- Candidates Shall be required to do analysis of various Tax related issues received from Industry and provide input as expert on those issues to Ministries with suggestion/recommendation.
- Shall be required to educate teams on various topics related to Direct Tax.
Qualifications
- CA with 6-9 years of experience preferably from BIG 4 in advisory role.
- Relevant Tax experience within Direct Tax, Strong Tax technical skills and keen to develop further.
- Excellent communicator in range of situations both written and oral.
- Team player with ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Practical knowledge of managing task independently.
- Must have practical experience of filling return, representing before the authority.
- Advance level of PPT, Excel and Word.
