About the Department

Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.

Key Responsibilities

The candidates hired shall be based at Invest India’s headquarter in New Delhi and will be part of IILB/ IPRS/ SLMS team and responsible for the following activities:

Strategic Government Engagement: 
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for engaging with government officials at both state and central levels. 
Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers to position IILB as an indispensable tool for industrial land transactions. 

Advocacy for Platform Adoption: 
Advocate for the adoption of IILB within government agencies, emphasizing the platform's potential to drive industrial growth and streamline processes. 
Conduct training sessions to enable government officials to fully leverage the IILB portal's capabilities. 

Data Sanitation and Updates: 
Collaborate closely with government authorities to facilitate regular updates and ensure the accuracy of industrial land data on the IILB portal. 
Implement and oversee data sanitation processes to maintain the platform's integrity. 

Regulatory Compliance Navigation: 
Stay informed about regulatory changes impacting industrial land transactions and work with government bodies to ensure compliance. 
Identify opportunities for IILB to align with evolving regulatory frameworks. 

Effective Communication and Reporting: 
Develop clear communication channels to convey updates, challenges, and successes in government relations. 
Provide regular reports on government engagement activities, portal usage, and data sanitation efforts. 

Stakeholder Coordination and Collaboration: 
Collaborate seamlessly with the product team to incorporate government feedback and ensure the IILB platform remains responsive to evolving needs. 
Work across functional teams to address challenges and leverage opportunities arising from government interactions. 
 

Qualifications

Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferable

2-5 years of proven experience in government engagement roles, preferably within the industrial or economic development sectors. 

Robust understanding of government processes, policies, and regulatory frameworks. 

Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes. 

Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making. 

Proven track record of building and maintaining successful partnerships with government entities.
