About the Department

 

Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.

Key Responsibilities

•    Coordinating with Invest India team members for preparation of NFA/ NAF. 
•    Help the Admin team with procurements and maintain proper records of documents and files for audit purposes.
•    Inventory management (stationary & pantry supplies), regular stock checks & implementing industry leading cost-effective practices. 
•    Manage and help team with logistical support for in-house and external meetings.
•    Sourcing quotes, helping team seek approvals and organizing food/ snacks and beverages for meetings.
•    Preparing and maintaining expenditure summary for all expenses.
•    Help team with Asset Management (onboarding of asset insurance vendor, asset tagging, insurance claims etc).
•    Research vendors (catering, venues, etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost.
•    Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favourable terms.
•    End to end event management. 
•    Additional work as assigned by Admin team.

Qualifications

Graduate from a University in Business Administration.
MBA would be an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good vendor management skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Able to handle a variety of tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
