Key Responsibilities

We are seeking candidates for an exciting opportunity at the Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) team. The role will involve formulating investor targeting, business development and facilitation strategies for global companies across the entire value chain of ESDM products including semiconductors. The position gives you the chance to actively engage with key stakeholders across Industry, Government, and Academia.

The ESDM team works closely with Government of India and is actively involved in formulation of policies for deepening the electronics manufacturing value chain including the Production Linked Incentive scheme (for Large Scale Electronics and IT Hardware) and the Semicon India Program with a combined budgetary outlay of US$ 17 Billion.

There is great scope for learning as you get to work with a national platform in a corporate setup. We are a young organisation looking for candidates that are passionate about India and nation building.

• Creating an investment pipeline through active targeting strategies and continued engagement with Industry.
• Facilitation and handholding of new and existing investors in market entry strategy / expansion advisory, policy advisory, JV & strategic partner search and issue resolution
• Policy formulation and implementation support to Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) via primary research and stakeholder consultations across Industry, Academia and Foreign Missions.
• Liaising between MeitY, prospective investors, and Industry Associations.
• Preparing research documents / pitch presentations on areas of interest for investors considering business expansion and policy inputs for Ministries.
• Organizing stakeholder consultations, roundtables, and investment promotion events to pitch investment opportunities across the sector.
