About the Department
Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNIi, and PMG.
AYUSH Desk is a team formed to facilitate the growth of the AYUSH sector in India through policy streamlining, outreach programs, global promotion, and stakeholder management. The team vision is to leverage the existing huge potential of the sector and provide an impetus to the domestic industry while assisting policies that enable a conducive ecosystem for AYUSH to establish itself globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Effective management of the different stakeholders involved in the sector and the Ministry of AYUSH
- Coordinate global outreach activities to increase awareness and engagement about AYUSH
- Continually identify potential investors for the sector and facilitate their business plans and engagement with Ministry of AYUSH and other GoI/State offices
- Be responsible for maintaining regular contact with all company accounts, conduct regular follow-ups and ensure effective stakeholder management
- Work with stakeholders in the AYUSH sector domain on ease of doing business initiatives and policy recommendations
- Prepare research documents/ pitch decks on areas of interest to various investors along with policy and vision documents for the AYUSH sector
- Undertake short trips to facilitate communication with stakeholders
Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree from a premier educational institution in India or overseas
- Relevant Experience: 2+ Years
- Prior work experience in Investment Banking or Management/Strategy Consulting
- Ability to work in teams and independently take responsibility for delivering key results
- Knowledge of Export-Import trends and policies in India and globally
- Strong Communication, Research, and Analytical skills
