GST Working Group Meeting of the Indo - Swedish Facilitation Mechanism

Invest India has an Indo – Swedish Facilitation Mechanism to address issues faced by Swedish Companies in India. Specific working groups have been formed within this mechanism to address issues in a more concentrated and efficient manner.

The first working group addressed issues related to GST. The Invest India team facilitated an interaction between the Working Group, the Principal Commissioner GST Policy, CBIC, Mr. Yogendra Garg, and Joint Commissioner GST Policy, CBIC, Mr. Amaresh Kumar on 20 August 2019.

During the interactions, the companies raised some pertinent operational issues being faced by them. A detailed discussion on each of the issues was held which provided companies with a clearer way forward for resolutions. More such working group meetings would be organized to help companies address their challenges.
