LNG approved as fuel for highway transportation
  • Government of India aims to reduce the GST on CNG run vehicles from 28% to 5%.  
  • The Ministry of Road Transportation and Highways, GoI has notified dual fuel usage (diesel as the primary fuel and CNG and Bio-CNG as the secondary) in the agricultural and construction equipment sector to promote the use of alternative fuels.
