The Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) and the Government of Madhya Pradesh organized an Infrastructure Outreach workshop to discuss the implementation of the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP). The workshop was attended by senior officials from various state governments, including Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Rajasthan, West Bengal, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. Representatives from central infrastructure ministries, such as the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, were also present. The workshop brought together key stakeholders on a common platform, facilitating meaningful dialogue, and initiating an invaluable exchange between the center and state governments on various schemes, financial instruments and trends in infrastructure in India.
