The scheme is applicable for all aspiring and existing entrepreneurs
The scheme aims to motivate different sections of the society such as SC, ST, women, differently abled, ex-servicemen and people belonging to the BPL category, to take up entrepreneurship as a career option, by providing motivation and awareness on entrepreneurship, self-employment
The scheme aims to provide enterprise facilitation for ideation, mentoring and incubation. It further aims to provide credit facilitation, market accessibility, enable access to enterprise clinics, diagnostic studies in the event of sickness, counselling and other facilities
Under the scheme, entrepreneurship and skill training would be provided in agro-based products, hosiery, food & fruit processing industries, carpet weaving, mechanical engineering workshops/ machine shop, heat treatment, electroplating, basic to advance welding, fabrication, sheet metal work, basic to advance carpentry, glass and ceramics, etc.
Further, the scheme would provide management capacity building training to the existing entrepreneurs and their supervisory staff in Industrial Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Export Management, Documentation & Procedures, Materials Management, Financial or Working Capital Management, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, Quality Management/QMS/ISO 9000/EMS, WTO, IPR, Supply Chain Management, Retail Management, Logistics Management etc.
