    • The scheme aims to motivate different sections of the society such as SC, ST, women, differently abled, ex-servicemen and people belonging to the BPL category, to take up entrepreneurship as a career option, by providing motivation and awareness on entrepreneurship, self-employment
    • Under the scheme, entrepreneurship and skill training would be provided in agro-based products, hosiery, food & fruit processing industries, carpet weaving, mechanical engineering workshops/ machine shop, heat treatment, electroplating, basic to advance welding, fabrication, sheet metal work, basic to advance carpentry, glass and ceramics, etc.
    • Further, the scheme would provide management capacity building training to the existing entrepreneurs and their supervisory staff in Industrial Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Export Management, Documentation & Procedures, Materials Management, Financial or Working Capital Management, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, Quality Management/QMS/ISO 9000/EMS, WTO, IPR, Supply Chain Management, Retail Management, Logistics Management etc.
