Swetha recently completed her MA in International Economics with a concentration in Strategic Studies from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). She spent a year at the SAIS Europe campus in Bologna, Italy and a year in the US campus in Washington DC. She holds a BA in International Studies with a minor in Communications from Bharatiya Vidyapeeth University, Pune.

Prior to her masters, Swetha worked at the Centre for Policy Research (CPR) as a Research Assistant working primarily on India’s military history and strategic outlook. During her time at CPR, she also undertook research on cross-border riparian issues.
