About the Department
Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeted strategies to create an investment pipeline for the ASEAN region.
- Lead continued engagement with industry stakeholders to identify business development opportunities.
- Provide expert guidance to new and existing investors on market entry strategy, expansion advisory, policy matters, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate closely with investors to facilitate joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.
Qualifications
- Post-graduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of work experience at a consulting firm / developmental agency/ investment bank/investment promotion agency / well-known global or
- domestic corporate
- Ability to work in teams and take ownership of the task at hand.
- Strong commitment to accuracy and professionalism.
- Excellent communication, people and analytical skills.
- Ability to work amid strict deadlines and on multiple projects.
