Key Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Employee will be responsible for supporting Invest India’s efforts to facilitate and monitor investments across Indian states.
The role involves close coordination with internal, Sector and Country Teams, and Government departments to ensure effective project tracking, reporting, and implementation support for investment facilitation initiatives.
The junior Specialist is responsible for facilitating domestic and foreign investment projects by working closely with investors, State Governments, Sector Teams, Country Teams, and central ministries to ensure timely grounding of investments across assigned states.
The role combines business development, project management, government relations, stakeholder management, and investment facilitation.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate investment projects from lead handover to grounding.
- Build and maintain relationships with State Government stakeholders and investors.
- Coordinate with Country, Sector, and Policy teams for project execution.
- Support investor meetings, site visits, and issue resolution.
- Prepare presentations, briefing notes, and state-specific reports.
- Track project pipelines, maintain MIS, and update IRM/project trackers.
- Conduct market and policy research to support investor engagement.
- Assist in organizing investment events, roadshows, and state engagements.
- Ensure timely follow-up on action items and stakeholder commitments.Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of state-level investment trends, project performance, and policy interventions to generate actionable insights for leadership.
- Contribute to internal process optimisation, knowledge management, and development of standardised reporting formats.

- Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical trackers on investment facilitation, investor pipeline, and grounded projects for periodic review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Postgraduate qualification (MBA/PGDM/Master's in Management, Economics, Public Policy, International Business, Finance, or related field) will be preferred.
- Post Graduate Degree in Business Analytics or a related field / Graduate in economics, business management, or any related field from a premier institute
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data handling.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities with attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or statistical tools (R/Python) preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within tight timelines.
- Prior experience in consulting, strategy, or analytics-driven policy roles preferred.
