Invest India is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as a Financial Analyst Domain Expert. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in financial analysis, due diligence, and business case creation. This role is pivotal in providing horizontal support to various sectors, ensuring thorough financial planning and prioritization of investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Horizontal Pan-Invest India Support:

Collaborate with different sectors to provide horizontal support through financial analysis and modelling expertise.

Conduct financial due diligence on investment opportunities and provide strategic financial insights.

Financial Planning:

Review and analyze financial plans submitted by potential investors to assess viability and alignment with national economic goals.

Work closely with sector-specific teams to integrate financial considerations into investment strategies.

Business Case Creation:

Assist investors in creating robust business cases, including financial projections, risk analysis, and return on investment calculations.

Ensure business cases align with sector-specific and national economic objectives.

Prioritization:

Prioritize investment opportunities based on sound financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic alignment with national priorities.

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop criteria for ranking and prioritizing investment projects.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a financial analyst, with a focus on due diligence and business case creation.

Strong understanding of financial planning, risk assessment, and return on investment analysis.

Proven ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels, including investors and financial institutions.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Familiarity with financial regulations and economic policies impacting investments in India

Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional financial certification (CFA, CPA) is desirable.
