Responsibilities

  • Driving the data platform architecture and design
  • Define data models and setting up the best practices
    • Full ownership to align the program functional objectives with data models
    • Modular and scalable data stores across RDBMS and NoSQL
  • Data access layer should be scalable for highly transaction volume systems (order of 20k+ tps)
  • Ensure the single source of truth across all DBs
  • Setup and own analytical pipelines for lightweight, highly scalable, real-time reporting
  • Mentoring junior engineers and shaping up the technology stack

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Expertise to handle data schema designs for both RDBMS, NoSql, Analytical DBs
  • Must have experience in setting up big data systems from scratch
  • Proficiency in either of the programming languages - Java / GoLang / Scala / Python, etc.,
  • Experience in creating stream-based processing systems
  • Experience with big data processing Hadoop ecosystem or equivalent
  • 10+ Years of experience in building big data systems
  • Experience in designing analytical systems that are flexible to master data changes with batch and near real-time reporting use cases.

 

Technical Skills

  • Java, Go Lang, Python
  • RDBMS, Cache and NoSql databases
  • Analytical DBs like Druid
  • Visualization tools like Metabase, superset etc.,
  • Microservices Design using Open API
  • Automation frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, RestAssured, Fixtures etc.,
  • Monitoring frameworks using ELK, Prometheus,
  • CICD setup using Jenkins and associated plugins
  • Extreme automation in Test, Deployment and Monitoring for quick delivery with highest quality standards.
  • Data pipelines using kafka and stream based processing using spark or flink
