The Education and Australia teams at Invest India, in collaboration with the GIFT International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), hosted a webinar on the establishment of International Branch Campuses and Offshore Education Centers in GIFT City. The webinar garnered enthusiastic participation from distinguished Australian universities. Notable speakers included Dr. Monica Kennedy, Austrade's Senior Trade, and Investment Commissioner. 

She highlighted the growing bilateral partnerships in education and the impressive progress made so far. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Dipesh Shah, Executive Director of IFSCA, who highlighted the benefits of GIFT City as a destination for establishing Australian higher education institutions. Adding to the insightful discourse, Mr. Sandeep Behal, Vice-President of Invest India, provided a comprehensive overview of India's Education Sector and shed light on the mutually advantageous opportunities that lie ahead for both nations.

In the coming months, Invest India will actively engage with Australian universities that have signaled their interest in establishing physical campuses in India. The goal is to aid these institutions in shaping their India expansion strategies, fostering a new chapter of educational synergy between the two countries.

Invest India in partnership with INZBC also held a two-day event for a delegation visiting from New Zealand in the Indian Habitat Centre with Chief Guests Mr. Tapan Mazumdar, Additional DGFT, Department of Commerce, Government of India, Mr. Sanjiv Singh, Joint Secretary, DPIIT, Government of India, Ms. Priya Rawat, COO Invest India, and INZBC Chair Michael Fox and 60 businesses from New Zealand. Invest India presented the India growth story, the sector, and state opportunities in India to the largest visiting delegation thus far from New Zealand with an interactive question and answer session to foster a deeper understanding of India's investment landscape. The session was fruitful and positive with the business delegation gaining fresh insights into the business ecosystem and opportunities available in New India.
