DPIIT organised an interaction with Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Government of India in collaboration with Maharashtra State Innovation Society (MSInS) at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). 

Dr. Rajendra Jagdale, Director General and CEO, Science Technology Park, Manisha Verma, Principal Secretary, Maharashtra Government's Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department, Prashant Girbane, Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture, Pune, and Nitin Karmalkar, Vice-chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University, were among the notable dignitaries present for the interaction. 

The visit included interaction with 30 startups and 4 incubators followed by a visit to Science and Technology Park Pune (Scitech Park) and experience centre at SPPU Research Park. Participants were encouraged to provide constructive thoughts and engage with positive spirit to accomplish the motto of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
