The Invest India team conducted a capacity-building workshop in Imphal, Manipur, on the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) and India Investment Grid (IIG) in partnership with the Government of Manipur for the various states departments. The workshop was chaired by Rajesh Kumar, Chief Secretary. Participants attended it, including Secretaries and Head of Departments of multiple government departments and agencies such as higher education, public works department (PWD), planning, health and Imphal Smart City. The Chief Secretary reviewed all the projects from Manipur and emphasized regular updating and addition of projects on NIP and leveraging the India Investment Grid platform to showcase opportunities from Manipur. 

The team also had one-on-one interactions with the Managing Director, Imphal Smart City, regarding adding projects with upcoming tenders on the IIG platform. The Additional Chief Secretary, Planning Department discussed partnering with Invest India to set up a state Investment Promotion Agency (IPA), Geographic Information System (GIS) tagging of land banks, identification of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) opportunities, and an upcoming buyer seller meet.

Invest India also conducted a workshop on showcasing CSR projects on IIG with the Government of Nagaland. The workshop was chaired by Alemtemshi Jamir, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) and other senior officials from IDAN. It focused on identifying CSR opportunities from the state and leveraging the IIG Portal to promote these opportunities to global investors.
