The Project Monitoring Group (PMG) portal has transitioned from issue-based monitoring to a milestone-based project monitoring mechanism. The milestone functionality is now live on the PMG portal. This new system will ensure proactive monitoring of projects by capturing delays and issues at specific stages during the execution of the project and will help in initiating course correction measures in a timely manner. Further, this will contribute to the mitigation of time and cost overruns in large-scale infrastructure projects. Milestones have been added for nearly 600 projects on the PMG portal.
