Invest India, under the chairpersonship of Manmeet Nanda, Joint Secretary – Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India – successfully organised the 2nd India-US Fast Track Mechanism for 2022 in partnership with the Embassy of United States of America (USA) in India and key India-USA industry chambers - US-India Strategic Partnership (USISPF), US-India Business Council (USIBC), American Chamber Of Commerce In India (AMCHAM). The Mechanism serves as a platform for faster resolution of issues faced by American companies in India, particularly those that impede investment or expansion plans in the country. During the meeting, 20+ issues were deliberated upon by the industry in consultation with senior Indian government officials from 15 ministries and departments for expedited redressal.
