Overview

Haryana is the fourth-largest producer of cotton in India and contributes around 6 per cent of the country’s total production. Easy availability of raw material provides the state with competitive advantage in the textiles sector, which provides employment to around one million people in Haryana. 

Districts such as Panipat, Gurugram, Faridabad, Hisar and Sonepat have developed into robust textile centers in Haryana.

Readymade garments of cotton are one of the major exports of Haryana, with their export reaching US$ 607.5 million in FY19 and US$ 567.4 million in FY20 (till December 2019).

Fixed Capital Rebate

Benefits for Textile Park Developers

  • Financial assistance @50% of total project cost with maximum limit of INR 10 crore
  • Financial assistance @50% of project cost of Hostel/ Dormitory Housing for domicile workers maximum up to INR 2 crore
  • Assistance @25% of the investment towards purchase of equipment and machinery to a maximum up to INR 20 lakh

  • Capital Subsidy
    • Capital subsidy @10%, maximum up to INR 20 lakh
    • For women entrepreneurs, capital subsidy @ 15 %, maximum up to INR 25 Lakh
    • For Technical textile projects, capital subsidy @ 15 %, maximum up to INR 25 lakh

Benefits for Textile Units setup in and outside of textile park in C & D Blocks

  • Capital Subsidy for attract Anchor unit, capital subsidy @25%, maximum up to INR 50 crore

Common Benefits to all units

  • Assistance for Technology Acquisition Up to 50% of cost to a maximum up to INR 25 lakh.
  • Support for Textile Machine Manufacturing interest subsidy @ 3% per annum and capital subsidy @ 15% of Gross FCI

  • Stamp Duty Reimbursement @100% of stamp duty paid

Benefits for Textile Units setup inside Textile Park in A & B Blocks

  • Stamp Duty Reimbursement @50% of stamp duty paid

Benefits for Textile Units setup in and outside of textile park in C & D Blocks

  • Stamp Duty Reimbursement @100% of stamp duty paid

 

 

Skill Development/ Training Incentive

Benefits for Textile Units setup in and outside of textile park in C & D Blocks

  • Employment Generation Subsidy: Upto INR 36,000/- per year per employee for 5 year or 20% of the SGST deposited, whichever is less to all category of Textile enterprises.
Interest Cost Subvention

Benefits for Textile Units setup inside Textile Park in A & B Blocks

  • Interest Rebate /Subsidy Interest subsidy @ 3% per annum, maximum up to INR 15 lakh per annum for 7 years.
  • Interest free loan equivalent to the net SGST paid by the unit for a period of 7 years

Benefits for Textile Units setup in and outside of textile park in C & D Blocks

  • Interest Rebate /Subsidy @ 8% per annum to a maximum up to INR 2 crore for 7 years.
  • Interest free loan equivalent to the net SGST paid by the unit for a period of 7 years

Common Benefits to all units

  • Support for Textile Machine Manufacturing interest subsidy @ 3% per annum and capital subsidy @ 15% of Gross FCI
