Invest India supported the Uttar Pradesh (UP) government for their Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023 (UPGIS 2023) by getting investments and promoting the event on various platforms. Invest India created a dedicated microsite on UPGIS 2023 that provided an overview of the event along with a banner on the home page of Invest India’s website to provide greater visibility to the event. 

Ahead of the UPGIS 2023, Invest India in collaboration with the UP government organized a road show in Delhi and facilitated 15+ B2G (business to government) meetings at the roadshow. The meetings saw the participation of investors from various sectors ranging from Electric Vehicles to Textiles. The roadshow also saw MoUs (Memorandum of Understanding) over INR 2.75 Lakh Crores signed between companies and State Government.

During the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors’ Summit 2023, Mr. Deepak Bagla, CEO of Invest India moderated the panel discussion on “Civil Aviation in Uttar Pradesh: The Emerging Opportunities”. Mr. Bagla spoke about the opportunities in civil aviation sector in India and the crucial role it will play in India’s 5 trillion-dollar economy and how UP has emerged as the civil infrastructure giant under the able leadership of the Chief Minister. The session witnessed keynote speeches from Mr. Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Mr. SP Goel, Mr. Daniel Bircher, Mr. Kris Peeters and Ms. Neelu Khatri. During the session, Airstrip Policy 2023 was also unveiled to incentivize the investors, attract investments and to make Uttar Pradesh a leading investment destination.
