As a Principal Designer / Experience Design Director, you will be helping solve problems of millions of Indian farmers and positively transform their everyday experiences. You will use your experience in design to get to the heart of their needs to guide a public sector entity toward a deeper level of intimacy as they service end-users by being part of National Mission projects being designed at the highest levels of the Government.

What You'll Do

• You will champion Human-Centered Design thinking through the organisation
• You will oversee the design of digital tools for service-providers (Front Line Workers) and farmers by bringing better understanding of the end-users, decision-makers and other key stakeholders
• You will plan and facilitate design research and engagements to drive outcomes within the organisation from a service-level
• You will establish a design language system that is scalable and user friendly
• You will establish and track baseline performance measures and signals toward the realization of the Mission mode program’s desired outcome at a national scale

• You are a skilled and experienced Design facilitator, natural and comfortable guiding conversation with stakeholders from varied backgrounds
• You are balancing both Human-centered Design and Systems Thinking as you approach the problem space
• You are inquisitive and don’t fear asking questions. You are a problem-seeker excited by complexity and scale and are comfortable navigating your way through ambiguity
• You are versatile in skill and adaptable in approach; seamlessly shifting between strategy and delivery to suit both context and need
• You are a natural storyteller and presenter who can distill amorphous and complex concepts into something that’s easy for others to grasp at all levels of the organisation/department
• You are a lifelong learner, seeking the latest information both in design tools, methods and product information

What You've Accomplished

• You have a background in product design, service design, or experience design, business transformation, information systems, or another related field
• You have a Degree or demonstrated work experience with at least 10+ years of being hands-on
• You have a proven track record of driving program level change in organisations, preferably at a design agency or management consulting firm
• You have expert knowledge of and experience with Design tools and methods
