About the Department
Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multi-state sector portfolio in infrastructure and policy projects.
- Prepare dashboards and analytical reports for ministries and state departments to utilize for routine planning, decision making, monitoring and management.
- Prepare data driven insights and innovative frameworks that can support policy formulation.
- Generate automated analytics and periodic reports for project tracking and performance monitoring.
- Research, assess, and document best practices that can be adapted and scaled in India.
- Support in capacity building initatives for Government stakeholders.
- Maintain effective coordination with relevant officials and project proponents.
- Stay updated with developments across assigned sectors and provide inputs for decision making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Public Policy, Economics or related fields.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience internship or project exposure in consulting, analytics or Government projects will be an advantage.\
- Good understanding of data, research and analytical tools.
- Strong problem solving mindset, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
