About the Department
Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNIi, and PMG.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluation of Business Models of various companies looking to invest in Indian Mining sector
- Liasioning with Ministries of Steel, Mining, and prospective investors
- Preparing Research documents/ Pitch decks on areas of interest for various investors
- Continuous Targeting and interaction with Foreign players to attract investment
- Evaluation of policy models for government’s recognition and enhancement of government’s due diligence processes
- Resolve queries and grievances in stipulated time
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Metallurgical/Mining Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Science, or Public Policy domains
- Minimum 2 years full-time experience in Government Advisory/Project Management/ Industry Experience
- Robust Research, Communications, and Analytical Skills
Excellent understanding of the Indian Metals and Mining sector and policies in Steel, Coal and Mining domains
