Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNIi, and PMG.
Job Summary:
Lead the HR team, offer knowledge as subject matter expert for all HR policies. Manage grievances and review instances of employee misconduct, including investigating and recommending suitable action. Responsible for the delivery and deployment of employee relations programs. The Expert will drive the transformational HR processes that facilitate organisation’s growth in line with key strategies and goals. The role involves end to end system management, change management, stakeholder management as well as related internal and external communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert for all HR policies. Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the organisation.
- Provide strategy and policy development in all aspects of Human Resource Management.
- Demonstrates executive presence, leadership capabilities and positive influence even during difficult situations and role model behaviours which sets the right cultural tone for the organisation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
- Manage sensitive employee situations and to review instances of employee misconduct, including investigating and recommending suitable action weighing the extent of violation, fairness of action and local employment laws aligned with the Code of Conduct at Invest India.
- Establish Key performance indicators that are aligned to the HR and organisation growth strategy.
- Benchmark, monitor trends and adopt new fit for purpose best practices, policies and tools that will ensure HR Services function continuously delivers positive employee experiences.
- Effective management of employee records in line with legal requirements on retention, privacy, confidentiality, and access.
- Conduct key HR processes within HR, i.e performance management, exit management, grievance management, and internal job postings.
- Design and implement employee reward and welfare programmes that drive engagement, productivity and ensure equity.
Qualifications
- 15-20 years of experience required with at least 6 years of successfully leading HR Operations in a dynamic high-performance environment.
- Background/Experience in policy, trade and FDI will be preferred.
- Knowledge of Indian labour/employment laws along with good understanding of international laws will be advantageous to the role.
- Masters in HR/Management/Policy
