About the Department

Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency of the Government of India, under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The agency serves as the first point of contact for investors exploring India as a business destination. Invest India is responsible for numerous key government initiatives including Startup India, AGNIi, One District One Product, Project Monitoring Group, and Waste to Wealth among others. 

About Startup India:

Startup India is a flagship initiative of the Government of India intended to catalyze startup culture and build a strong and inclusive ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship in India. Since the launch of the initiative on 16th January 2016, Startup India has rolled out several programs with the objective of supporting entrepreneurs and transforming India into a country of job creators instead of job seekers.  

Key Responsibilities

  • To streamline and execute all the marketing and content related efforts for the Startup India initiative
  • Performance management of Startup India Social Media channels
  • Designing and executing high impact marketing campaigns for new and existing programs in creative ways
  • Track and monitor the campaign progress by creating dashboards and customised reports
  • Be the voice of Startup India across all its social media platforms
  • Generating valuable content such as blogs, reports, brochures for the website and social media handles to increase engagement with Startup India stakeholders and update them about Indian startup ecosystem
  • Drafting and co-ordinating media communication and event related work for verticals
  • Coordinating with the multiple agencies and stakeholders to ensure end to end effective execution of campaigns and video production
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports on the progress and analysing gaps to act upon
  • Ideating and executing new programs and ways to increase the reach of Startup India initiatives and meet the company objectives better
  • Automate processes by onboarding new tools to increase efficiency and monitor impact

 

Qualification

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in campaign management and marketing
  • Prior experience in performance management and functioning of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn & Instagram and SEO optimisation
  • Graphic Design & video editing skills are a big plus - Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere et al
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passionate to contribute & learn
  • Efficient stakeholder management & attention to detail
  • Strong business acumen to conceptualize pertinent content
  • Ability to balance left/right brain methods to deliver effective, creative campaigns for various social media handles
