About the Department
Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.
Key Responsibilities
Operations and Coordination:
- Oversee day-to-day operations and coordination at the state level for implementing interventions.
- Integrate best practices into effective execution.
- Review documents and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and sector-specific training institutes.
Research and Data Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth secondary research and literature reviews.
- Coordinate with government and private e-commerce platforms.
- Prepare and share action reports detailing issues and challenges.
- Organize roundtables with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong coordination, organizational, and research skills.
- A commitment to data-driven decision-making.
- The ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in statistical tools and programming languages.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Education in international trade or Economics with an extremely strong foundation of trade metrics and monitoring
- 1-2 years' experience working as a business analyst preferably in trade or related sectors
