About the Department
Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.\
Manthan is an initiative led by the Office of PSA with the potential to change the landscape of science and technology-based social impact innovation and solutions in India. The aim of the platform is to empower various stakeholders (Industry, Philanthropic, Foundation, Central Govt) to scale up the interactions with researchers/ innovators. The focus lies on facilitating R&D/innovation and sharing challenges focused on emerging technologies and other scientific interventions, as well as those with a social impact. Manthan reaches out to all premium institutes (IITs, NITs, IIITs, AIMS, DRDOs, Research labs of DST, DBT, Atal Innovation labs, ICARs, CSIRs, IISERs, BITS PILANI, Manipal group, Amity etc ) and 75000 start-ups. Key Responsibilities
- Bidding for the next contract partner, if no bidders then move to NIC.
- Leverage project management tools and processes to coordinate and manage Manthan Platform
- Raise, monitor and identify technical as well as non-technical challenges with service provider and ensure results with quality and according to schedule.
- Basic understanding of IT/ERP/CRM tools and its functionalities
- Align processes, goals, and priorities with the different stakeholders.
- Understand the competitive and strategic position of Manthan Platform and deliver best-in- platform engagement activities.
- Work on various projects involves the integration of Manthan platforms with other IT or Innovation platforms.
- Work with the tech production team to ensure smooth and seamless production.
- Engage with Industry, academia, international organization, Government, and startup to help them registering over Manthan and resolve their challenges with the platform.
- Promote and forge partnerships on scientific research and innovations from India’s premier academia for social impact with Industry, philanthropic and CSR organization through Manthan.
- Secondary research, outreach, and communication.
- Proactive in developing relationships and strategies to accomplish objectives and accountability in delivering results.
- Streamline engagements with industry partners and ensure timely communication based on best practices.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree (MCA)
- Prior professional experience in IT product management, CRM and any other innovation platform.
- Attention to detail and taking end-to-end ownership.
- High degree of responsibility, with demonstrated supporting experience.
- Excellent client facing and communication skills; the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and simply, in writing and verbally, to technology and funding decision-makers at senior level.
- Must understand a sense of urgency and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong management skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently.
