Russian energy player GSC Energy Solut-ions secures approval for faciliating manufacturing unit of Type III cylinders

GSC Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd., India, in collaboration with Gas Service Composite, LLC, Russia, provides mobile gas distribution equipment equipped with safety features. It plans to establish a manufacturing line in two years with an initial investment of $ 5 million, which could create 50 jobs. Subsequently, the company intends to invest an additional $ 50 million and create 300 jobs as it establishes a manufacturing facility for LNG Road Transportation Equipment within the next three years. Gas Service Composite manufactures Compressed Natural Gas at High-Pressure Type III, Industrial Gases Composite Cylinders, and Road Transportable Gas Banks. According to Indian laws and regulations, companies must obtain pre-approval from PESO for their Type III Cylinder manufacturing processes and facilities. Invest India has held multiple meetings with PESO officials, the Joint Secretary of the Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas, and the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas to resolve the issue of granting clearance to Gas Service Composite to manufacture type-3 cylinders in India.
