About the Department

Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with the various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii and PMG

Key Responsibilities

  • To frame the policy/guidelines on the Project
  • Coordination between the industry, operators, AAI, DGCA, State authorities, etc.
  • Handling matter related to Krishi Udan policy
  • Examining request made by the industry for policy considerations, new policy inputs and preparing reports/ inputs for consideration.
  • Convening meetings at different levels, issuing Minutes of the Meeting, compiling Action Taken Reports, preparation of presentation for the meetings, preparing drafts for interaction with various stakeholders mentioned above.
  • Monitoring the progress made on the subject matter.
  • Analysis of Global Best practices and submission of inputs based on analysis.

Qualifications

  • Proven Experience in project delivery and management, primary and secondary research
  • Work in the Aviation/logistics/Supply chain will be preferred.
  • B.Tech, equivalent degree Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree (MBA Marketing or equivalent) is preferable.
  • 2+ years’ full-time work experience at a leading corporate/Indian government organisation /embassy
  •  Ability to work in teams and take ownership of task delivery.
  • Excellent relationship building skills and stakeholder management
  • Excellent Communication, People and Analytical skills.
  • Good IT skills, MS Office, project management tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
  • Attention to detail and taking end-to-end ownership
  • High degree of responsibility, with demonstrated supporting experience
  • Excellent client facing and communication skills; the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and simply, in writing and verbally, to technology and funding decision-makers at senior level
  • Must understand sense of urgency and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
