About the Department

 

Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency. It is a joint venture between the Department of Promotion for Internal Trade Industry (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and State Governments. It hosts teams working with various Govt. initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNIi, and PMG.

The AGNIi Mission is a flagship initiative under the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser, and one of nine technology Missions under the Prime Minister’s Science, Technology and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC). The Office executes the Mission in collaboration with Invest India, the national investment promotion agency. The AGNIi Mission focuses on commercialising Indian emerging technologies: helping private, public, and non-profit sector organisations upgrade capabilities and competitiveness with Indian startup and laboratory innovation.

Key Responsibilities

 

In this role, you will work closely with various AGNIi stakeholders from the Healthcare ecosystem to drive high impact and sustainable results through emerging technology introduction and implementation. Your work will include establishing and managing stakeholder relationships in the Healthcare space. Understanding their technology intervention requirements and introducing emerging and innovative technologies will be at the core of you function. Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategically develop and drive a commercialization roadmap to support Indian innovators and startups with market access and scaling channels in Healthcare and allied sectors
  • Identify and develop long term ecosystem partnerships with government/ public/ private industries working in the Healthcare space
  • Establish an in-depth understanding of your prospect’s pain points/needs and scout for relevant technological solutions for the same
  • Analyse technology/industry trends in the Healthcare sector to identify technology pain points and draw out use cases to solve these pain points
  • Utilise and adhere to tools to track KRAs and monitor progress with industry partners to accelerate the growth of innovations
  • Coordinate effectively with all stakeholders within and outside the organization to improve efficiency
  • Prepare research documents/ pitch decks on areas of interest to various Stakeholders in this sector
  • Creating presentations, documents, and reports to clearly showcase work and results to executive management
  • Responsible for designing and delivering projects on strict timelines with limited guidance
  • Proactive in developing relationships and strategies to accomplish objectives and accountability in delivering results
  • Streamline engagements with industry partners and ensure timely communication based on best practices
  • Any other responsibility that may be assigned

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in the STEM, commerce / finance, design, or the humanities or graduate qualification in or related to the fields of business administration, engineering, public policy, sustainability, human development is preferable

  • Strong academic track record
  • Master’s degree (MBA or MS or equivalent) is preferable however not mandatory
  • Prior professional experience of 1-5 years in Healthcare or related fields including business development, program management, technology consulting, venture capital, product design, MSME, startups, public policy, sustainability or similar backgrounds is preferred however not mandatory
  • High degree of responsibility, with demonstrated supporting experience; capable of formulating and executing sector strategy with a high measure of initiative
  • Excellent client facing and communication skills
  • Must understand sense of urgency and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong management skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently
  • Attention to detail and end-to-end ownership
  • Advanced presentation and excel skills preferred however not mandatory
